Job Description Hardware Hawaii, a local retail hardware and lumber business, is seeking a customer oriented and highly-motivated individual for a full-time position as Assistant Store Manager. The individual we seek is outgoing, enjoys working with customers in providing the best possible customer service and is able to assist in leading large teams toward a common goal. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Recruit, lead, train and motivate associates to attain personal and store goals. Assist store manager with planning and coordinating store operations. Maintain high level of customer service standards. Manage store inventory to insure adherence to policies and optimal merchandising. Skills and Qualifications 3 years of retail experience with 3 years of management experience required. Self-motivated, disciplined, detailed orientated and possess ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Highly organized and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities. Computer competency required.
