Job Description

Hawai'i Pacific Health is a not-for-profit health care network with over 70 locations statewide including medical centers, clinics, physicians and other caregivers serving Hawai'i and the Pacific Region with high quality, compassionate care. Its four medical centers - Kapi'olani, Pali Momi, Straub and Wilcox - specialize in innovative programs in women's health, pediatric care, cardiovascular services, cancer care, bone and joint services and more. Hawai'i Pacific Health is recognized nationally for its excellence in patient care and the use of electronic health records to improve quality and patient safety.

Behind every one of our patient stories is the dedication of a team of talented individuals who help to make Hawai'i Pacific Health a premier health care system. The Clinical Education department helps build the team's expertise in patient care by expanding the skills of our clinical staff through demonstrations and simulation, online continuing education courses, nursing specialty training academies, life support training and other continuing educational offerings. The department plans, designs, implements and evaluates all education activities for clinical staff with the goal of increasing their job performance and skills.

As the Continuing Education Coordinator, you will be responsible for the system's preparation, coordination, development and review of continuing education services for Hawai'i Pacific Health's Joint Accreditation Providership (Continuing Nursing Education, Continuing Medical Education, and Continuing Pharmacy Education).
