*Position Summary:*
The Senior Specialist position in the Business of IT area will provide support for the internal business administration for the IT Department.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Maintains accurate records, reconciles and prepares invoices. Analyzes and tracks issue and resolution activities related to invoice processing
* Supervises 3rdparty IT spend/invoice processing vendor(s)
* Participates in the annual budgeting process by providing data, analysis and reporting
* Provides financial and budget management/analysis assistance to IT department leaders
* Responsible for the training of the accruals and budget processes
* Management and reporting of the IT Department s monthly accruals, financial review reports, and other IT-related expenses to department heads
* Identifies process enhancements, updates and maintains currency all IT specific financial and purchasing administration process documentation
Requirements
*Minimum Requirements:*
* Bachelor s degree, or equivalent combination of work experience and education
* 3 years of direct experience analyzing financial data by collecting, monitoring and creating financial models for decision support
* Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines
* Must display accuracy and maintain confidentiality when processing data and maintaining records
* Strong data gathering and analysis skills
* Strong proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools
* Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to make recommendations based on data and analysis
* Must be able to work effectively with minimum supervision and maintain a positive attitude
*Preferred Qualifications:*
* 5 years of direct experience analyzing financial data by collecting, monitoring and creating financial models for decision support
* Airline industry experience and knowledge
